For those who have read The Da Vinci Code, how has it affected your life? (pls

read b4 answering)? Firstly, before I begin, I would like to say that I know The Da Vinci Code is fictional, I'm not stupid, but it would also be stupid to say that The Da Vinci Code is completely fictional as well, some information has no actually evidence to support it, e.g. the Jesus bloodline theory and the Priory of Sion, however, there are some information that actually exists, like archaeological discoveries, the discovery of the Gnostic gospels from the Nag Hammadi library...

I grew up in a Catholic family, and I still am a Catholic, I believe in the spiritual significance of the sacraments, I believe that Jesus is the son of God, our savior, he preached and inspired millions to live better lives, he preached about love, kindness and equality, and I believe going to Church is a great way to communicate to God. As a child, I had a phobia of questioning the priest, because I felt like if I question the priest's authority, I would be questioning God himself...

For me, The Da Vinci Code started it all, after reading the book, I began to read more books, thus I began to question my religion, I began to expand my mind and think outside of the box, to open my mind to new possibilities, thus my phobia of questioning the priest vanished...

My readings have led me to became a Catholic universalist, I came to believe in universal salvation, that all good and kind souls, those who taught and practiced goodness, ethics, kindness, morality, values, love, etc, whether they are atheists, Jews, Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, etc, through the love and mercy of God, will ultimately be reconciled with God and with Jesus, and all evil and wicked souls, those who taught and practiced evil, wickedness, murder, rape, etc, will be damned and go to Hell...
