How long did it take? How difficult was it, both physically and mentally? What emotions did you feel? Did you get sick? Injured? Who did you go with, or did you go alone? Why did you go? What was your favourite part? Least favourite? What was it like coming home? What was your itinerary? How many miles did you travel each day? What did you bring with you? What was the weather like and what time of year was it? And anything and everything else you want to tell me...I want to know it all
I want to know because I'm going to write a novel (or at least a novella) about hiking the trail. And I dream of hiking it myself...right now I don't see how that will ever work because I have so many other goals and dreams and aspirations...but maybe one day, I don't know

I want my story to be realistic as possible...usually I write about things I've done or places I've been, so I don't really know how to write about something I've never done before...I've hiked a very small part of the trail in Virginia, but I haven't got a clue about the rest of the trail...so don't hold back, tell me everything, the good and the bad!
