For the people who play EV Nova do you know how to apply plugins to the game? I have

some but nothing happens.? I downloaded plug-ins from ambrosia's website and I put it in the plug-in folder for EV Nova, but I don't see any of the changes they say should happen. What am I doing wrong? Did I miss a step?
