For the people who like Obama: Do you only like him because he's black and he made history?

or do you like him because of what he said he was going to change and for political reasons?because it seems, half of you don't know what you're talking about
 
i like him and voted for him becuz he sounds like he has more potential to help this economy than mccain and palin..
 
i don't like him, but i think that's the main reaon why people praise him so much.ugh
 
no but the majority do.EDIT: not to be racist but the majority of black people i know were saying he is going to be the best president, yet they didn't know what party he was running for.
 
Cause of his race. Then again I do agree with stem cell Research, pulling out of the war, and the stimulus package.
 
A bowl of rock soup would be better than the Bush regime. I just want a President (black/white/purple) who will work effectively to undo what has been done. I hope Obama can be that man.
 
I'm canadian so I DON'T like him because he's stopping the import of Canadian goods, when the US is our biggest exporting partner. So he's screwing us over :O
 
I like him because he's intelligent and has a genuine concern for the country. Too many ignorant Americans have been voting for the "guy I'd have a beer with (aka Bush) for a long while now.
 
I like him mainly for the way he is with people. He is one. He doesn't talk down to people. No superiority complex.
 
As I said in your other question, I support MOST of his plans, I do however disagree with some. the stimulus package I absolutely DISAGREE with, because that is taking my hard earned money to fix others' mistakes.HOWEVER, in spite of that I respect him more in a way, because he's just doing what he thinks is best to fix the economy in our country, and any person who is willing to take on such a task, deserves respect.He has an excellent idea when it comes to global warming.For all of you other people: If you voted for obama just because of his race then SHAME ON YOU.
 
I like Obama 'cause he didn't pick a retard to be vice-president. That says something to me.But I don't get why people hate Obama or McCain.When I first saw the candidates from where I live, not US, I was like; So the other one's black and the other one's white... so?In truth I think there's was no huge thing that called out to the world; WOW WHAT A GOOD CHOICE FOR A PRESIDENT, for either of 'em.Anyway I'm glad Obama won because Sarah Palin would have destroyed the world if McCain had gotten a stroke.
 
He's bright and sincere, and strong. Also, morally sound. Ingredients for good decision making.
 
I like him because he promised things, and I'm hoping he'll live up to those promises. I like him, and it has nothing to do with his colour or history.I believe he'll make the US a better place.
 
I did not vote for him. Had nothing to do with his race, had everything to do with his politics. I also did not vote for Mccain for same reason. I chose to vote against Socialism in 2008.
