, I am very curious about this topic. It seems to cause a lot of confusion in my relationships.
For me, when I meet someone I like, and feel I can spend some time with, I like to know what they are looking for in their relationships. And before I have sex with someone I like to feel like or know that I am the only one they are with.
But some men have said to me, go with the flow, and don't think too much, Im not ready to make a commitment to you, it's too soon, or commitment comes later, sex is natural.
Im starting to think that I have a hang up about sex, it's not that at all, I of course enjoy it, but I like to know if the person i am getting involved with wants a long term relationship or just a fling. It doesn't mean that I expect him to know if he wants to stay with me for a long time, but get to know me to see where things go.
Am I being too controlling of the situation? Should I just let go and see how things unfold without the questions?
Men have said to me that I should just enjoy what we have, and sex is natural.
I agree it's natural too. But i'd like to hear your opinion.
Does commitment evolve out of a connection? or does connection truly evolve out of some form of monogamous commitment?
