for the last 70 years america was at war with communism

This seems like a rather loaded statement and one that doesn't really capture historical accuracy. Often it is collective identity that serves to hinder or prevent conflict. Sure establishing that identity can often be difficult and involve conflict but it tenRAB to be more stable in the long run.

While that may be true in theory, technically it is because of that collectivism that we get "war" as opposed to "violence/murder".

War is what collectives do, regardless if all the merabers want to do it or not. Violence/murder is what individuals do.

Those fucking liberal ass founding fathers, declaring independence.

Those liberal ass French, inventing modern democracy.

Those liberal ass Romans, nearly perfecting the republic.

Those liberal ass Greeks, developing political philosophy and collective decision making.

Those liberal ass Egyptians, recording government and history.

French inventing democracy? HAHAHA Yeah right, they don't have a Democracy. They are a fucking Republic as well.

That's almost as funny as the founding fathers being Liberals. News flash for you, don't believe all the bullshit that is printed in your Liberal text books, they are designed to brainwash you into thinking that. They believed in small and limited government, with people being armed and self reliant, and having the ability to own slaves and limited nurabers of people able to vote. They weren't Liberals.

As far as the others, what does that have with Liberalism?

Sure, ... if there is but one collective, there would not be war. The focus of my argument is that it is built into the concept "collective" that homogeny is sought, and that war is necessarily a conflict between collectives. Two collectives who coexist peacefully and aware of one another, such that an interest in peace is mutually understood and pursued, ought indeed be said to be one collective.

The question then, if you're wanting to attack my position, is whether or not homogeny and peace can be woven together conceptually.

war is being waged not against other counties to make or prevent conquests of territory, but to keep our structure of society intact.

its no longer about territory, but about resources and maintaining the current flow of commerce

and in the past, wars were fought for territory, because territory ensured those two things.
