Volkswagen AG is considering buying a motorcycle producer, the automaker's chairman said in an interview with a German publication.

"I would still like a small, valuable motorcycle manufacturer," VW chairman Ferdinand Piech told Stern magazine. The comments were later reported by Reuters.

Reinforcing his interest, Piech said in the interview he wished he had bought Italian bike manufacturer Ducati 23 years ago.

"I myself drive a Ducati; 180 horses and more power per kilogram weight than a 1,001-hp Bugatti," Piech said.

Yeah if VW bought Ducati they would do them as they done to most of their line of cars and send production to mexico. Whatever they buy will go down the tubes.
