Ok so recently I have read a couple of her books and i was wondering if the books confuse you? I ask because when i read them, it seems like they skip from event to another without explaining anything. Example:(WARNING: Anyone who hasn't read A Countess Below the Stairs and wants to, don't read ahead because it spoils the end) In A Countess Below the Stairs, at the end when Rupert was going to marry Muriel and they find his mental cousins locked up, and Muriel doesn't marry him, then it jumps to Anna getting a letter saying that she still has time to serve at the Earl's house and in the letter it adds that Rupert is not there, but when she arrives, he is there and he is mean at first then he's all nice, then it skips to them getting married.

I was getting frustrated at how much events skipped, especially in A Song for Summer. But if it's just me, then sorry for wasting your time!

Well, I've only read 2 books by Eva Ibbotson. They were:

The Journey to the River-Sea
The Haunting of Hiram

And I really enjoyed them, but this was in grade 6/7. They weren't confusing to me, but it might have been just that book that was confusing.
