psychological issue..? For my psychology midterm, we have to write a paper on a movie discussing a psychological issue..?
The issues we may use are as follows:

1)Should animal research in psychology be eliminated?
2)Are traditional scientific methods sufficient to provide Evidence for psychological practice?
3)Are humans naturally violent?
4)Do women and men communicate differently?
5)Do brain deficiencies determine learning disabilities?
6)Does the environment influence human development more than genes?

Any suggestions for movies that these issues could apply to?

I would do number 4. Watch "A league of their own" a classic movie and right a paper on it.

For 6 you could watch a movie with a character that is situated in a new environment where he/she has to adapt to its social norms. I don't know any off the top of my head, but I am sure there are a lot of movies out there like this.

Good Will Hunting (for #4); Trading Places (for #6) Little Miss Sunshine; Paulie (#1); Amos and Andrew (#3) The Ref; Radio (#5)
Some of these a comedies, but still have merit if you read between the lines.
