...forts and camps. Thanks!? Just wondering what the difference is between these different titles. For example, what is the difference between Marine "Barracks" and "Fort" Bragg.
Nope, Marine Barracks, is a Marine installation in Washington DC. I don't know why it is called "barracks" though instead of fort or base.
 
barracks are house for soldiers on bases.
forts are smaller than bases
bases are like cities for the military
camps are temporary locations for planning and survival that kinda stuff
