For Escherichia coli, I have to figure out what gene the sequence came from?

Here was an example my teacher gace us: For the BLAST sequence, you will submit a DNA sequence of 40 – 60 nucleotides long. This sequence, when entered into BLAST should identify your unknown as a result. In addition, you will need to say what gene this sequence comes from and what is its function in the cell. For example:



Sequence:ATTCAGATTTGCTAAAGCTTTTTTTGAATTCGTTAATTGCTGTGTCAAACT (51 nucleotides)
