For art critics and buyers: Would you rather....?

Would you rather buy and display funky abstract pieces, like abstract faces and abstract colorful jazz scenes, or a landscape/realistic peice? Im deciding on whether to focus on abstract or realistic. I was wondering if abstract is still respected these days. and i dont do the abstract that is just colors. i usually have a point of interest. thanks a lot =)
