For an career-edge in gaming and/or programming, should I take Japanese or Chinese?

I'm majoring currently in Computer Graphics Technology (with a focus on rigging, animation, modeling, and texturing, in other words -- 3D) and minoring in Computer Science.
If I'm lucky, I'll end up with my own game-design studio someday.

To fill some electives, and also just for my own benefit I'm looking to learn a new language ('already speak English and German). I'm looking at Chinese or Japanese as to what I'd start learning next semester.

I plan to become proficient (if not fluent) in whichever I choose.

I know a lot more about Japanese culture, and think I would enjoy learning the language, but I also know that China is more likely to have an highly prosperous economic future than Japan.
