Haha, I'm trying to answer some questions about a micrometer caliper but unfortunatelly do not have the instrament here with me. The question asks how can you get readings from 0.000mm to 1.000mm from a micrometer caliper when the scale on the thimble part of the instrament is only calibrated in the range from 0.000 mm through 0.500mm?
