For all fellow loyal south park fans?

I am 18 and have been a loyal fan of south park, watching it since i was 7 in 1999. I remember watching the classic episodes like "chickenlover" on tv as new episodes of the week, and just loving the subtle messages in the show. Well now i am concerned about south park just a bit. Over the last couple months, i have bought 10 seasons of south park on dvd (seasons 2-11) and begun watching from the old episodes on up to relive some glory south park days. Well i noticed that cartman has changed alot throughout the seasons, and he almost isn't funny anymore in the newer seasons. I know he has always been offensive with his cursing and racist beliefs, but he is really a butthole now, and it almost isn't funny anymore. Like in the earlier episodes, he would just cuss and make fun of celebrities, but now he has become more and more racist each season. I almost am disgusted when i watch cartman in new seasons, and get offended by his words very easily.

Also, a difference in new seasons from old seasons is that those classic characters (mr. hat, halfie, mrs. choksondic, jimbo, etc.) aren't shown that much or at all, and those classic lines that would be said every episode (omg they killed kenny, screw you guys i'm going home, etc.) aren't said anymore. And kenny never gets killed anymore! I just think south park is getting more and more lame each season, and i become more disappointd with it.


IDK, i was just thinking about this last night and wanted to know what other south park fans thought.
