For a car, what is a carryover?

I'm looking at buying a used rental car, and on the website, it lists certain options on the car like:

TILT WHEEL :TELESCOPING(09 CARRYOVER)
IPOD COMPATIBLE :AUX AUD JACK(09CARRYOVER)

and a couple of other options.
It's for a 2010 Corolla
Does that mean they installed older options on a newer car? and if so, is it bad?
