Foot pads scientific studies

Hi

I took an interest lately in the foot pads fad .Although I don t have any heavy metal poisining or anything that would require this kind of medicicine , they have pretty extraordinary claim and as always in this kind of case all kind of investigators rush to debunk them . Unfortunately most of those so-called investigation and studies are based on common sense , hear-say and personal experience which are not very conclusive for anyone with some serious standards . So I have been looking for scientific studies on the matter .

This one is the closest thing to a serious study I found .The test was done at UC Berkeley on the infamous Kinoki patches . Turned out that composition before and after use was virtually identical. What s more the journalist herself carried out an additional experiment by hanging up patches above boiling water : patches turned also black regardless .
As far as I m concerned closed case . However I am scrupulous and like method above everything else : it s just one brand so I d like to find a couple of other scientific studies performed on other brands . Pro and con are both welcomed . I just want to prevent any arguing claiming that the Kinoki brand is the one to blame and that the concept is undermined by cheap products .

Does anyone know of a scientific study performed aside of those 2 ?

Thanks for reading this topic and for your insight
