Hi all, new to this, please offer any comments or suggestions.
I am 54yr old male 150 lbs great health. For the past 3 years I have been battling this random swelling, lower left lip, right outer foot, left palm, one finger, one side of my tongue, small place (size of a quarter) on my arm.
Only ONE swell at a time, may move from one foot to the other (or any other place) in 2 to 4 hours. Like a traveling swell till I eat some non offending food.
Swelling will occur 2 to 12 hours after I eat beef, eggs, or peanuts. I can eat all the Turkey, Chicken, and most any Fish without any reactions. An allergy specialist gave me Allegra, that used to work well, taking away the swelling within an hour, now it seems to have little to no effect. The swelling is getting more frequent and there are probably more food items to add to the allergic reaction list, I am keeping record and trying to isolate all reactions to fooRAB. This all started after a trip to China. As soon as I mention China, all the doctors say "that's out of my field", or "I have no idea". Can a parasite cause this? What test can be run? (6 stool samples already done along with several blood tests). Skin test say my skin is NOT alergic to these fooRAB, its the digestion of certain fooRAB that cause this reaction. The swelling is not painful unless I have to walk on it. It seems to help some after I do a colon cleanse, like prep for the colonoscopy, no reactions for 2 weeks, can eat most anything. Tried walnut extract with wormwood pills before every meal 4 weeks, it does reduce the swelling episodes, never stops them completely. Thanks for reading, please reply!
