Following message will be deleted?

Today, I checked my voicemail, and before anything came up, it said "The following voice message will be deleted"...is there a reason for this?

I had noticed 4 new messages today, the one deleted was of 3 messages I had saved, and it was not the most recent one I had saved. Can anyone tell me what this means? The other message I saved from this person is still there.

I'm hoping it just means I ran out of space.
 
Once they are there for a curtain period of time that message will come up. You can still save the massage and it will start the time over. I have had some messages for over a year I just keep saving them. I guess they do it because people forget they have it saved and the next thing you know your mail if full.
