Folders are unidentified in 1GB MicroSD card of my Nokia 6300 phone?

Through a card reader I have enterded some music files to 'music' folder and some pdf files for 'Graphics' folder. Then I connected the card to the phone and in applications the phone cann't identify the folders. So I cann't get in to folders. The folders are showed with question mark and folders names haved turned in to something like 'pgdfGames' or 'pdgfGraphics'. So when I clicked to go in to the folder it is said the data type is not suitable. So I cann't get into the folders such as Games and to play games.
What shall be the reason? How could I make it right
