foggy head, vertigo?

Can anyone shed some light on what might be causing the following: Eleven days ago my husband was cutting grass - nothing unusual - but when he got off the tractor he was dizzy/vertigo. He came in the house and sat down but dizziness/vertigo never went away. Two days later we went to dr. to see if he could help. Was sent for CAT scan which showed everything okay. Put on meclizine which helped nausea but not vertigo. When he didn't get better dr. sent him for MRI and MRA. Again results are everything okay (thank goodness). But problem still persists although he is getting along a little better now. Now besides the vertigo he has a constant foggy feeling in his head. Not on any medications so it's not that causing it. Can anyone give any ideas what it might be. Doc did say something about possible fluid (imbalance?) in ear, but how do you determine that for sure? Thanks for any help.

It could be fluid in the ear caused by allergies from the grass. I had an inner ear virus years ago that caused vertigo and I was given motion sickness pills  Anyway, it went away after a couple weeks. Since your husband has had all kinds of tests, I wouldn't worry too much. Anxiety will just make it worse. ;) . I wish you well.

Is your husband taking over the counter or rx meds for any other condition? Is so, review the side effects and check with the pharmacist as dizziness and vertigo are often side effects of medication and doctors don't look for those first.
