Okay, so I'm buying a car soon. The radio it has is only for CD player, I think it doesn't have the AUX feature. I have a Zune, so I was thinking of buying the Zune package that is an FM Transmitter/Charger that plugs into the cigarette port thingie xD..
The question is, I told my bf about this, and he said that his sister used an FM Transmitter once [or other device that plugs into that port, I'm not sure it was a transmitter] that plugged into the cigarette port as well, and that apparently it pulled energy from I don't know where and the car died [or so they say, the car might have died for some other reason, for all I know]. Can this actually happen from me using an FM Transmitter plugged into the cigarette port? It's not worth it to lose a car because I want to listen to music from my Zune, besides, there is the option of a battery operated transmitter, but I really wanted this one. Thanks for your help
