FLV files - What should I do?

I just downloaded a video off YouTube into an FLV file. When I tried to open it, I chose Windows Media Player to open it and then set that as the default program for all FLV files. Well, then the Windows Media Player didn't work...I guess that program is not compatible with FLVs?

I actually have 2 questions: How do I open this file and how do I change the settings for the default program for FLVs?
