Flunking law school and abusive parents?

I'm 21 and am flunking out of law school. I'm waiting on my last grade to come it, but I'm pretty sure I'll get academically dismissed. I live with my parents and if they find out, they will severely beat and never let me leave the house or see my long-term boyfriend (my dad doesn't even know about him, because he would prohibit it.) My parents still treat me like I am 15, yet I have done nothing but try to yield to their every demand my entire life.

I hate law school and don't want to be a lawyer. I have two bachelor degrees and plenty of job opportunities, but they will try to convince I'm a worthless failure. Initially I was scared that my dad will beat my mom if I "run-away" but at this point, I'm more worried about myself.

I have places I can stay at until I'm on my feet. What are the essential things I should have with me when I get away from them? I'm scared that they will try to track me down and harass me and the people I know. Please help, this is really difficult.

u may be flunking school becuz of all this stress that is being put upon u. there is no right for ur parents to beat u becuz u flunked. u may want to warn ur bf ahead of time so he wont think ur avoiding him if u arent allowed to talk to him. u are 21 and u need to be able to make ur own decisions. dont let ur parents decide for u. sit down and try to talk to them about ur situation. u need to let ur dad know about ur bf. i wouldnt say that keeping ur bf a secret is lying but he will be happy u told him now instead of waiting even longer. if he prohibits, ask him to give u a reason why. if he gives u a good enough reason, also talk to ur mom about ur dads decision. hope this helped.
