Okay, so I'm driving myself bonkers over here debating whether or not to get this flu shot that is "recommended" I get since I'm pregnant. I've NEVER had one in the past, I'm against the thimerosal preservative in it, BUT I want to protect myself and my unborn baby this coming flu season. I've spoken to my PCP and he strongly recommends the shot but doesn't carry the mercury free version. I've spoken to my OB and he recommends the shot, doesn't carry the mercury free version and admits that since I'm due after the season is over, it's not as necessary to get the shot as it would be if I was due during the season. (make sense?) So what should I do?! What are you girls doing?! Please share your opinions, stories and recommendations. I'm on the fence here!
