flatulence, abdominal/low back pain & more

Hi people. For quite a while now I've been having a lot of flatulence, lower back pain and abdominal pain.

After waking in the morning also feel quite nauseus. Been to doctor and they cant seem to determine the problem. They suggested irritable bowel syndrome and i went on a prescribed diet but nothing changed.

The abdominal pain/aching is sort of like the pain from getting hit in the testicals but it just lingers there and doesn't go away. The pain is bareable but still uncomfortable. I also have quite tender to touch testicals and every now and then my urine is a cloudy/milky complexion.

Back pain is an aching one, worsened from prolonged sitting but every now and then i will over stretch myself and it almost feels like a knife has been inserted into my lower spine and the pain also shoots around every part of my hip.

Any help/ideas to what may be wrong or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Last I knew, there was no one set regime for IBS since it is kind of an umbrella diagnosis when nothing else fits.

How is your fiber intake? Have you read about the specific carbohydrate diet - there are articles on the internet and Elaine Gottschall has written a book Breaking the Vicious Cycle.

Have your doctor check to see if by any chance you've picked up a STD or some form of bladder/kidney issue going on & don't wait! The sooner you recieve treatment for this the better & it may be as simple as taking an antibiotic. You may want to go to a specialist like a Urologist as they are more likely to get to the cause level of the problem you've been having.

Let us know how you make out & I hope you feel better soon!

Except for the wind it doesn't sound like IBS (I have it). Sounds to me like it's more likely to be bladder/kidneys. Maybe an infection? I would have it checked out ASAP, infections can be pretty nasty. Also possibly what the previous poster mentioned. Either way it needs attention sooner rather than later.

Has your doctor not recommended you have a colonoscopy? These could be the starting symptoms for IBD - Inflammatory Bowel disease. Do you also have mucous in your stool?
