Yesterday my O/D light started flashing. I checked to see if I had accidently hit the button (which on the transmission stick) but when I clicked it, it wouldn't shut the light off. I have driven the car since then, both on side streets and on the highway with NO sign of transmission problems, but the light is still flashing. Anyone have any clue what could be up? I am getting a new car this fall so I am REALLY not trying to drop any unnecessary money on the a car that has already cost me triple its purchase price 
The far has 135K miles on it and I put a new transmission in 1.5 years ago. I know I am leaking oil (one of those problems I have chosen to overlook for the sake of my wallet) but I just got the oil filled again today. New tires, new brakes and nothing FEELS wrong while I am driving.
