I was driving late at night and the speed limit was 45. Then up ahead there was a sign that said 35 but I honestly thought it said 55 and sped up a little. Then the sign started flashing lights like a siren and I slammed on the breaks immediately because I realized it said 35.
Was the flashing lights just a warning that I was speeding or did it take my photo or something? I'm really worried that it did and I feel incredibly stupid that I misread the speed limit sign. I slammed the breaks and slowed down the moment I realized I was going too fast.
