my honda is an automatic 1992. the car will over heat if i sits for too long like at a train or stop light. the only way the engine fan will turn on is if my foot is on the gas or the car is off. i usually jus put it in nuetural an press the gas a couple times.
After driving for more than a couple miles, ill turn the car off and if i try to start the car too soon, it will either not start or it will start but not be able to acceletrate and the D4 light will flash no matter if its in park reverse or any of the others. i have to wait for the car to cool off. and jus lately if i try to start it more than twice the battery will die and also it just started the flashing even when the gage says the engine is not hot. a new alternater was put on just a few months ago. why is it doing this and how can i fix it.
