I recently did a compression test on my 02 wrx.
Compression was good. I put the car back together with new NGK spark-plugs and started it up. It started right up and ran great.
However within about 30 seconds my CEL started to blink.
I plug in my code reader and it says that there are no codes to read. I then unplugged my battery resetting the CEL. Once again I start it and no CEL is present then boom 30 or so seconds later it shows up blinking.
It is definitely not misfiring!
The code reader says that the CEL is present but no codes could be found.
I did get this information out of it :
MAF- .38 pounds per minute
Map- 10.9
The car runs fine, just the way it did before I took it apart.
My car was tunned through an AP which the previous owner lost. It was never unmarried but the actual AP is gone. Is it possible that I some how lost my tune with the countless unplugging of the battery?
