I have Macromedia Flash MX 2004 and Adobe Golive 6.0 and am wanting to make a personal website using both. The strange problem I have is when I want to preview a custom made web page in Internet Explorer that has a shockwavefile in it, all I get is an open space with a red x in the upper left corner as if there is no file to show. What is strange is that when I am in Golive and preview it, it shows up fine. I even previewed it in Firefox and it came up with no problems. In Flash I made both a flash(swf) file and html file. When I click on the html file I made, it shows up in Internet Explorer just fine. When added to Golive and previewed it comes up with the blank box with a red x in the corner again. This all makes me think that Golive is not working right.
Last problem that shows up is when I try and preview and the SWF doesnt show up, I get a message closing out of Golive saying that I am missing a flash.ocx file because Vista(my current OS) doesnt support it.
Hope I explained this good enough and that someone can help.
