Flash Player 10 help PLEASE! I uninstalled and reinstalled..?

But still runs slow, esp. with games. I have Firefox...and I can't seem to switch back to Flash Player 9...it just goes to zip file and I can't figure out how to unzip it! What should I do? It's a big headache. Thanks.
