Flash drive question. transfer steam onto drive to another computer.?

well i just got a new notebook and i wanted to transfer my steam account onto a USB flash drive that is 4gb to my new notebook. just wondering if this will work because i dont want to create a new account. and also all of my games are in that one account so any advice will help.
 
you can back up the games. run the back up game program under steam. install steam client on your new computer and import those games back in. depends on the size of your games, flash drive might not be enough.
