Flash CS3 button Help!!?

I need to create a simple button, that when clicked, the revealed image stays on the screen and when clicked a 2nd time the the revealed image disappears. I know it sounds simple, but it says I cant apply an action to a button. How do i do this please? Any help please?

you could create a new scene with the image use the same background as the original scene then call the new scene when the button is clicked
