Flash a METRO Messager to Cricket ?

what do I have to do to a Samsung messager from METRO to make it work for CRICKET ??

can it just be activated as-is or does it have to be re-flashed ?

you will have to flash it, you can do it yourself or you can take it into a store and have them do it, talk and text is easy however doing a full flash is something you will have to read up on. and easy to do if you have the right tools

I got web. MMS doesnt work. I did with sampstit didnt work, then read settings from original and put on metro one. No results.

I got a red messenger right now works well mms&wap with the Cricket firmware on it.

All I really need on the phone is talk and text..

can I get away with loading a cricket PRL and then having them activate it and load OTA ??

I've flashed quite a few phones in the past, but they were all GSM. And of course a bunch of iPhones

New to AWS / CDMA flashing.

I've read up a bit on it, but everything I've found seems to be geared towarRAB putting a CDMA phone from Sprint or Verizon onto Cricket (non AWS)

I haven't found anything that addresses flashing one AWS phone to another carrier...

any "hints" on what utility to google for

You only have to load a cricket prl and either know your SPC and manually program it, or change it to 000000 for *228 OTASP. Then activate ESN and *228/ manually program.
