Quarantine tanks are for BEFORE you introduce new fish into the tank. Once you put a fish in your tank with a illness you need to treat the whole main tank. Now that you have a second tank keep any new fish in their for at least two weeks and then if any problems arise you can treat just one tank.

Most likely the reason your fish you moved in the 10 gallon are not eating/dieing is the stress from the Temp and PH change you just caused them. Maybe even the shock form all that salt all of a sudden, salt should NOT be added all at once, it should be added over the course of a day so the fish get used to it.

Put the fish back in your ten gallon and treat them all at once or treat both tanks. Make sure you keep and eye on Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate in both tanks and keep them perfect to help the fish heal faster.

Good Luck

Ok so In my earlier posts i talked about how some of my fish( I have 9 in a ten gallon) have fishrot and something else.. Later today I bought another ten gallon tank without any gravel and put in a plastic plant and a open cave ornament from my other tank.. My problem is, is that I put like 15 little salt cubes in the tank and i moved all the fish that appear healthy into the extra tank and put one of the Anti-Fungus fizzing tablets and an Anti-Parasite fizzing tablet. They treat some of the same diseases. Now I found one of my fish laying down on its side but not dead, it seemed fine and starting moving again normally once i put a net near it.. also the fish arent eating, I fed them 2-3 hours ago and they havent touched the food.
