fix pcm for dodge stratus?

i recently replaced the PCM on my 96 Dodge Stratus, and now the car wont start. somebody told me that you have to flash it over but wasnt sure.i got it from a junk yard. they didnt have the make and model of my vechicle, but they said a 96 Chrysler Cirrus would do the trick. im really lost and any help would be greatly appreciated
