I Have a 95 nissan sentra with 195,000+ miles. A few months ago I rear-ended and my water pump cracked causing my car to over heat. I already have a bad oil leak (about a quart a week) and few other quirks. Then last week on my way to work it broke down. I think its my fuel pump...
How does this add up
Water Pump + Coolant =$50
Labor for water pump = $150 - $250
Fuel Pump = $75
Labor for fuel pump =$100
Plus it could use a tune up and the tranny is starting to go so knowing
I only make $1,000 - $1,100 a month
Should i Save and keep investing in my car until something major happens? Or is it time to move on to a new used vehicle?
