Okay so I'm 18 years old, female, a little over 5' but not quite 5'1", and about 126 pounds. I calculated by bmr and it said i burn about 1400 calories on my own...I'm trying to tone my body up and lose the layer of fat on my belly and in between my thighs, so does that mean I shouldn't eat much more than 1400 calories?? I don't think I would eat much more than that anyway unless I was just super hungry but I also don't want my body to go into starvation mode and start saving fat.. also I was wondering if doing the elliptical for about an hour/hour and a half each day pretty hardcore will be as beneficial as running on the treadmill for thirty minutes? I can't stand running because I have bad ankles and a bad knee. I do weights as well as lunges and abs also.
