Fitness and strength exercise regime for a 15 year old girl?

My 15 year old daughter would like to become more fit and strong in the new year as well as losing a bit of weight. Not for more then around an hour a day as she has schoolwork, 'her' time, and other commitments. Does anyone have any thoughts on things that she can do to help with her goals. Very much appreciated.
I am about 79 kg and about 172 cm.
