Alright so me and my dad recently have been picking up fishing.
The first night we went, we went to Lake Elsinore. We got maybe 1 bite and were there from 9:40 PM to 4:30 AM. Not going there again.
The second time we went, we went to a Fishing Reservation in Redlands and got about 3 or 4 bites, no catches AGAIN. Stayed there from 10 PM to 5 PM. (We only go fishing at nighttime if that helps.) The best place we have found which we have gone for about 3 times now, is at Seal Beach in a hidden fishing spot. We are always getting bites, using mussel meat, squid, clams, and chum. The first night we went we got some bites, didn't catch anything. The second night we got plenty of bites, and we each caught 1 small trout. The 3rd night which actually was last night, my dad caught 2 fish and I caught 6 trout. We did enjoy catching, but the fish we have been catching are very small. We are looking for somewhere in Southern California (mainly by the Inland Empire and Beach Cities.) for us to get some good sized fish. If it affects anything like I said earlier, we only go fishing around 8 PM - 5 AM. PLEASE help us find some fishing spots!
