Fishing in bakers ck?

I pulled in a 39 Centre meter bass last night but it had half the body missing of it I need to know what is in the creek and what would have eaten the fish .a few days before that my mate and I saw a fish that was easily 2 meters long what would have that been????????
 
Depends on where you are. Where I live (southeast) it could have easily been an alligator.

If this was a saltwater creek, it could also have been a small shark.
