There's a pond by me (Chicago area) that has carp that average around 5 pounds. They've been really tight lipped lately.I was wondering if there should be a feeding frenzy before winter or if there's particular baits that work better during this time?
I've been using canned corn and white bread balled on a hook. There's no shortage of bait recipes out there but I'm wondering if there are certain things that work better in the Fall?
Daily temps are 60-65 degrees with some high 50's.
