A couple guys at work asked me if I'd like to join a rec softball league. I like playing baseball and figured why not. So, I told them that I was probably in.
Then, I discovered that they're trying to recruit pretty much everyone from work. And there a couple of people that I don't really care for and would have trouble socializing with outside of work. The individuals in question are aware I have problems with them, but I don't necessarily want to discuss it at length with everyone else we work with.
So, I'm looking for a reason to get out of it (can't blame work...) that doesn't force me to bash co-workers that I have to see frequently. Ideally, I could come up w/ something that wouldn't force me to request time off from work (during the games) b/c in lieu of the economy, hours are hard to get as it is.
Suggestions??
I put this in Singles & Dating b/c the two people I have the biggest problem w/ are this girl who used to like me and her boyfriend. They're both rather immature about the whole thing.
