recently i had to catch one of the fish in my pond and the grass carp swam into the net and was kicking about a lot, when i got him out of the net i noticed he had a split fin
the grass carp is about 2 foot long so he is quite large and the split goes right up his fin on the right side.
this was about 2 days ago and bits of white have shown up on the end of his fins.
what should i do?
will it repair itself?
he is too big to put in an isolation tank and the pond is around 20 foot by 20 foot by 3 foot in dimentions
any ideas would be helpful because google will not bring up any decent answers
thanks
