Fish was out of water ..im worried?

As you know my tank broke and my fish fell out on to the ground and i put him in a cup of water for temporary use ..when i looked at him to check for injury it appears he has tiny little air bubbles on the top of his skin..what is this..does he have ick..it has no color its just clear and when he swims one of them kinda dangles from his fin
Also what is ick and what is it caused from and how do i get rid of it and if i he has ick will he die
