I have a fish tank in my living room. 20 gal with heater. And 1 blue gourami and 5 tiger barbs. Sometimes, it gets warm in the living room, and sometimes when my mom cooks it gets really hot. So Im assuming the temperature of the water is because of the heat outside the tank. The temperature is 82 fahrenheit. And I want to know if my fish will die? What could help the fish? Removing the Heater for a while? Also, if I dont turn on the lamp at all, will it affect the fish? Thanks. My mom wont let me put the fish in another room. Since we live in a apartment and its pretty small.
