Fish sleep just like us!
When you turn the light out in your tank the fish will either float around motionless or float to the bottom!
My Gold Dojo sleeps up-side down motionless.

Um, a fish that was not awake?
My fish sleeps. He just floats, completely still. It scars the shit out of be because he just floats there and I think he's dead. Sometimes he's at the bottom, sometimes the top, or the middle. But never on his side, or he actually would be dead.
But yes, he does sleep.
He's a betta.
