Fish/shellfish allergy

I recently found out I have a class 2 allergyto fish/shellfish. Is there a way to tell exactly what type of fish I'm allergic to. I don't eat much meat so fish is one of my few sources of protein. I'd hate to have to eliminate every type of fish if I don't have to.

Also, could this be why I get severe vertigo from fish oil? I thought it was the iodine, but maybe not.

I don't have any physical reactions from eating fish/shellfish other than my voice getting hoarse after eating shrimp. I have thyroid issues and Hashimoto's, so I thought it was the iodine in the shrimp bothering me.
