I had two goldfish that i got at a birthday party. I put them in a two gallon tank. I wasn't expecting them to live long and they didn't. (I know it was because of the tank.) I found that I really enjoyed having them around. I am looking for a different kind of fish not a beta or a goldfish. I want to get more than two fish. I am looking for some that are fairly easy to care for and can live in a two gallon (I'm considering a five or ten gallon also, and would love to here price ranges) tank with other fish. Also i would like a fish that isn't horribly expensive and one you can find at a petsmart which is my local pet store. Please recomend a fish that tolerates other fish. I have a small desk for them and that is why i need a small tank. (Are ten/five gallon tanks really big) My desk is about three feet long or maybe 2 and a half feet.
